TASK is a leading manufacturer of design-led office furniture in the UK. With an impressive portfolio of clients and some truly stunning projects under their belts, it’s no surprise that they recently became the UK supplier for leading Italian brands, including ICF and Marelli. Following a recent brand refresh, TASK needed a new showroom to show off their offering and we were happy to help.

The brief was simple: a sleek, clean space which allowed their product samples to shine and could be enjoyed by clients and employees alike. We responded with a design that allowed TASK to neatly display their samples, allowing the colours to be the main focus while still retaining an eye-catching and modern feel.

It was essential that fixtures and fittings were kept to an absolute minimum to ensure there was nothing to detract from the beautiful samples and bright colours on display, so we used profile edge handles and non-locking as a priority. On the lower door units, we fitted push-to-release catches to ensure seamless operation.

Custom-made pigeon holes were installed behind the doors to keep further samples neatly organised and within easy reach to show to clients. To make the most of the floor space available, we kept the drawers shallow and built them seven units high to maximise on height.

Finally, the horizontal alcoves were finished with strip lighting in a way that both highlighted the displays and brightened the entire space.

The result was a bright and polished space that really accentuated TASK’s range of products while providing an ideal place to meet clients well as an inspiring workspace.
