The Institute of Biomedical Science have over 20,000 members in 61 countries, and is the leading professional body for scientists, support staff and students in the field of biomedical science. They are known for ‘advancing knowledge and setting standards in biomedical science’.

Freshworkspace LTD  were appointed to refurbish four floors of their London head office and approached James Tobias to supply all the fixed storage elements within the newly created environment. This including coat cupboards, StorageWall, library shelving and a boardroom MediaWall.

As part of the design, there was also a requirement for a showpiece display in reception to exhibit historical medical apparatus. This brought to light interesting technical challenges such as the curvature of the wall as well as hinges and clasps for the glass doors.  James Tobias worked tirelessly to create a bespoke solution that satisfied the brief and on completion provided a focal point in the newly created heart of the building.

James Tobias worked closely with Fresh Workspace at all points in the project to resolve any issues that were presented and were able generate drawings in good time so that installation targets were met. Both Fresh and IBMS were delighted with the end result.
