I am a Business Development Executive based in our office in Bridgewater and am currently in my 9th week.
What does that actually mean? What does your role entail?
Managing relationships with key existing accounts and introducing new customers to the world of James Tobias products.
What does a normal day look like for you?
I look to be organised, so like to split my day between keeping in contact with existing clients, liaising with other departments to ensure orders and installations run smoothly, contacting potential clients to discuss our extensive range of products and issuing quotations when required.
How does your role work with the wider James Tobias team?
Communicating with all departments is very important at James Tobias, this helps us ensure a reliable and consistent service for our clients.
Who do you do most of your work for?
All of our clients, whether the account is big or small each one is equally important so building relationships is key.
If you had the chance to tell your clients one thing about James Tobias what would it be and why?
James Tobias is more than just StorageWall… Our storage wall leads the market but we also have some fantastic new ranges from lockers, Quebix and Teapoints.
If you were to have one James Tobias product in your own home, what would it be and why?
I don’t think there really is just one item, I would happily turn my house into a showroom of James Tobias goodies!
Finally, when you’re not creating the UK’s leading storage solutions, what keeps you busy?
Spending quality time with my family and pet pooch, reading, cooking and watching a good film on TV usually with a sneaky glass of wine!
