Where would we be without our phones, tablets and USB powered devices? The modern world has evolved. These devices are part of everyday working life and we rely on them to work quicker and more efficiently. Therefore, it is essential that these devices are charged as quickly and as safely as possible, giving you maximum usage from your device. James Tobias have adapted their expertise in office storage and combined this with high end technology to produce a range of charging products. To date we have three options:
- A pull-out drawer that is concealed behind the main doors
- A clad alcove built within a unit
- A mobile/standalone pedestal
All of our products benefit from not only a fast USB charge function but sync function as well. This allows one device to update apps, documents or settings on all other devices that are compatible and which are connected.

All internals are designed and manufactured in house in our Somerset factory and delivered using our fleet of modern vehicles. They are then carefully installed by our own directly employed and experienced fitting crew.
Helping choose your internals
James Tobias StorageWall is a well-engineered and robust storage system designed to accommodate normal office filing requirements. The method of storage provided by the various internal fitments is self-evident but the following precautions should be heeded.
Shelves – All shelves are manufactured from steel. Their design provides lateral restraint to the unit side walls and eliminates the sagging associated with timber shelves.
Only fit the appropriate number of files to the shelves or filing frames – forcing in extra files exerts lateral loads on the side walls. Overloading the shelves and filing frames in this manner is dangerous. The use of shelf dividers is recommended to reduce the possibility of lateral loading on the sidewalls.
To avoid damage to the doors, hinges and lock mechanism ensure that badly filed or bulky items do not interfere with the doors or locking mechanism when closing.
Roll Out Filing Frames
Roll Out filing frames should not be located more than 1300mm from the floor (a maximum of 4 levels) to ensure safe operation.
To avoid damage to the doors, doors must be opened beyond ninety degrees before pulling out internal roll-out fitments.

PAPER GUIDE
Sometimes lockers are used in a manner that requires a post slot. Our paper guides are fitted to the doors at the manufacturing stage allowing no loss of time on the day of installation. Size of opening approx. 310 x 21mm.
LABEL FRAME
Our label frames come in three different sizes. These are:
- Small – 69 x 35mm
- Medium – 93 x 42
- Large 100 x 74mm
Other types are available on request.
NUMBER DISC
Very useful when you have large quantities of lockers. Two options available:
- Option 1: A vinyl disc supplied in brushed stainless effect with black text. This is a cost effective option.
- Option 2: Laser engraved (similar to the image shown). This is a better quality disc with a thickness to the material and more Colour options available.
