James Tobias design bespoke storage for IBMS London HQ

The Institute of Biomedical Science commissioned Fresh Workspace to develop four floors of their historic London head office.

Fresh then invited James Tobias to bring our design and flexible storage expertise to the project. As Fresh developed the bespoke interior, we designed a custom storage system using our core products, including StorageWall. The approved designs included stylish closets, library shelving and an impressive boardroom MediaWalls feature.

Challenging space

IBMS wanted their reception area to house a display of historic medical apparatus.

This presented some interesting architectural challenges because of the curvature of the walls. Using detailed drawings, James Tobias created a bespoke system of clasps and hinges that perfectly complemented the glass walls of the display, creating a breathtaking front-of-house interior focal point.

Detailed design

Working closely with Fresh, we helped ensure the smooth running of IBMS project.

The commercial interior and shared communal reception area now feature practical storage and inspirational layout design, thanks to a combination of expert planning, manufacturing, supply and installation.
