As Financial Controller I have full overview and responsibility of the company’s finances and the finance department; working alongside an amazing, hardworking finance team I must add.
This doesn’t just mean sitting down ‘number crunching’ everyday, it’s a role where you have to be willing to integrate & work with every department and person within the business. luckily the people at James Tobias have a willingness to assist each other to get the right results. This positive attitude and approach runs all the way through the business from the factory floor to how we engage and deliver positive results to our client base.
Myself and my partner moved from Essex to Somerset over 5 years ago so we could be near the coast and countryside; we also have two little girls… yes im outnumbered at home massively!
We are outdoors people and get to the North Devon beaches to bodyboard and surf when we can, or head out for walks in and around this amazing part of the UK. I would class myself as a keen DIY person, but get less keen when something doesn’t turn out right; life has taught me things may go wrong sometimes, but learning from it and trying again is the important part.
